Hi All! I just finished my 30th radiation treatment, with only 4 more to go, and I'm feeling great! The skin where the treatments are focused is super tan but holding up really well (thank you Aloe Vera plant and Lavender oil!) It’s two days before Christmas and we are getting ready to close out this year shortly and wow, what a year it has been! My last radiation treatment is scheduled for January 31st and I promise you, I WILL BE CELEBRATING!
This year I have seen myself transform into who I have always desired to be. It’s been a wild ride, this breast cancer journey of mine, but through it all I feel wiser, stronger, happier, so loved and more alive than ever! I have met so many amazing people along the way and have reconnected with many of my old friends. The friends that have been with me throughout the years have shown such an amazing amount of unconditional love that words just cannot do justice to how grateful I feel. To top it off, my entire family have been beyond supportive and has showered me with so much love that I'm feeling like I’m the luckiest woman in the world! And words cannot describe how wonderful and amazing my best friend and husband has been!
I've been spending time exploring with my art, writing, mind, body, spirit and my love for people and through it all have made a decision to use all of those avenues to devote my life towards helping others. How that will play out is unknown. I will take it one day at a time, enjoying each and every moment along the way, while celebrating life with everyone around me.
That’s the latest in a nutshell! Everything is truly amazing, I feel great and all of my treatments have been thus far a complete success! The next several years will include some preventative treatments that I will approach the same way I did with all of my healing treatments this year, with open arms! Now that I know how powerful my mind is I can face anything with optimism.
I would like to close this post with telling you all how much you are loved and appreciated. You are all amazing people and are deserving of all things good. So with that said I would like to wish you all a wonderful holiday and an absolute amazing New Year! I love you all very much!
Next week I will close out this amazing year with a recap of all that has happened. It will be fun to share my journey from this year all in one post! Merry Christmas and blessings to you all!
